Marios Alexandrou is a senior menswear designer and design consultant specialising in product architecture, wardrobe systems and category development.

With over a decade of experience across contemporary and premium brands, his work focuses on building coherent product frameworks that translate creative direction into clear, commercially viable collections. His expertise spans outerwear, circular knits, jersey and woven product, working closely with development teams and manufacturers across Europe and Asia.

His approach combines design clarity with technical understanding. From silhouette logic and material selection to fittings, construction and final execution, he works across the full product development process to ensure collections remain both creatively focused and production-ready.

Alexandrou’s work is grounded in structure and discipline: defining category roles, refining proportion and building wardrobe systems that allow collections to function as cohesive, scalable product ranges.

He collaborates closely with design directors, product development teams and manufacturers to translate concept into precise garments that perform in both creative and commercial contexts.

My approach combines creative direction with technical understanding and structured product thinking.

I work closely with design, merchandising and development teams to define silhouette logic, fabric direction and category roles, ensuring that collections are not only visually strong but also coherent, scalable and aligned with production reality. Alongside in-house roles, I also support brands as a consultant, helping to clarify product structure, refine fit and proportion, and align design with manufacturing capabilities.

Through long-term collaborations with trusted development and production partners, I am able to support projects from early concept through to final execution when required.

I am particularly interested in projects where design, material and construction are treated with the same level of importance.
